Where does everything from the house clearance go?
We recycle as much as we can. On average we recycle about 80-90% of everything we remove.
To keep the recycling fees down we try and donate any reusable or recyclable items (such as bric-a-brac, furniture, clothing, books, pictures, costume jewellery etc)
to charity.
What happens to secure information?
We ensure any sensitive materials (bank statements, credit cards etc.) are all securely disposed of, keeping you safe from identity theft.
If we find anything of any value in your clearance such as lost jewellery or forgotten cash etc, we will inform you straight away.
How much will it cost?
It can vary, we can give you a quote over the phone, but it would be best to view first to give you an accurate quote.
Are there any hidden costs?
Our quote will include everything. No hidden extras.
How
competitive are we?
Compared to the cost of hiring skips and the time you would spend filling it, we believe our fees are extremely reasonable.
How do we pay?
We accept most forms of payment. After your clearance we will invoice you to arrange payment.
How much can we clear away?
We can guarantee to clear the entire property or area regardless of size. The last thing you want is a house clearance company turning up on the day and telling you they cannot fit everything into their van, we will take it all, even the rubbish. This will be costed in your original quote.
What if I want to keep items?
We are always happy to transport any items you wish to retain to a different location. This will be quoted for. If you are not local or out of the country, we can still help.
Which areas do you cover?
We cover Kent and
surrounding areas.
Do I need to be around on the day?
No you do not, we are able to work with you to obtain keys.
What can be done about vehicle clearance?
If you have old vehicles or machinery in the garden or in a garage or lockup, we can arrange for the purchase or disposal of all types of vehicles or machinery.
Are you licensed?
Our license is issued by the Environment Agency. We have a duty of care to ensure that waste is disposed of legitimately. If you were to use someone who is not licensed and your waste is disposed of illegally, it can in some cases be traced back to you and you can end up being fined.
